Here are some suggestions for getting YouTube and TeacherTube videos to where you can use them with your students.
Firefox has a nice extension called Video DownloadHelper
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006
that easily downloads video, audio, and photos from lots of sites. You can also visit the Video DownloadHelper site for lot of info and tips: http://www.downloadhelper.net/

You can then view the video using any free FLV player such as the Applian Flvplayer:
http://applian.com/flvplayer/
